Join us on the 9th of June at 12pm for an Introduction to Ansys Motor-CAD and an overview of its key capabilities.

Ansys Motor-CAD facilitates the fast design of electric machines while considering the complex multiphysics involved in the operation of the machine. A detailed model of a motor can be built, considering the machine physics within E-magnetic, Thermal, Lab and Mechanical contexts and providing analysis across the full torque/speed operating range.

A brief description will also be given of the wide range of available templates that Ansys Motor-CAD users are able to draw upon. An example of Ansys Motor-CAD use in an industrial environment will be provided via a case study. Parameter optimisation using Ansys Motor-CAD will be discussed by introducing the sensitivity analysis capabilities offered, which allow the influence on performance of individual parameters to be determined in order to optimise the motor design for size, performance and efficiency. A new advanced optimisation workflow using Motor-CAD and OptiSLang will also be shown
